Students gain hands-on expertise in conducting pre-entry gas checks and continuous monitoring across a wide range of operational settings—including confined spaces, hot work zones, pits, shafts, and storage tanks. From issuing work permits to lowering test equipment into deep spaces, participants learn the vital protocols needed to maintain site safety on land or water.

Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry

Supply photo ID

Have the physical capability to perform the practical demonstrations, such as climbing a ladder, donning a harness, manual handling

Wear appropriate attire and enclosed footwear
Online pre-course work: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic device with access to the internet to complete the online pre-course work. Please note: All online pre-course work is to be completed prior to attending the face-to-face assessment.
